Opiod Drugs - Trump's Job in Controlling Their Use is Huge

President Trump and his wife in a brilliant speech today, announced programs to help stop use and spend money to help those addicted. CNN, a Socialist hotbed, immediately criticized his speech as failing to say "how he was going to do these things". What a bunch of sheer idiots.

Did Martin Luther Kin explain in 30 minutes how he was going to enforce and expand Civil Right Laws? Or was he too busy "womanizing"?

Did Democrat Jack Kennedy explain how he was going to re-create Camelot in our country in a 30 minute address to the nation? While he a his brother were "messing" with Marilyn and others.  Did Democrat Lyndon Johnson explain in 30 minutes how he was going to create his FAILED Great Society? Or explain in 30 minutes why he stopped this country from winning a winnable war in Vietnam? (We should never have entered this conflict but once in, YOU ARE IN TO WIN).

President Trump has an almost unwinnable task on hand. Way too many crooked Doctors and prescription writers, drug Cartels and drug distributors. While our President said steps are  being taken to limit Opiods to a 7 day supply, the death merchants are already conniving how to skirt this one week limit.

I am in favor of the laws that were being enforced in Singapore when my wife and I last visited 30 some years ago. Execute the source death merchants and the dealers while expanding drug use preventative education and rehabilitation.

And no, I never said that Marijuana use was a good choice. Medical for dying people in great pain, yes. What I said that since our DEA had failed, our country should allow totally certified legal distributors and collect the taxes. And monitor the legal sellers on a daily basis, switching observers on a monthly basis so they will be less likely to get off of for "not enforcing".No matter what Sessions or the Trump administration does, there will always be drug users; especially liquor and, especially Marijuana.

Most of of our resources and money should go to education and rehab including alcohol abuse and alcohol addiction.

I totally agree with you Merle. Something that is never mentioned when it comes to this topic is the insurance companies role. They do not monitor the amount or frequency of refills on these drugs making It easier to get. Not only is it easier but the out o pocket can be nothing so people are getting loaded for nothing and causing trouble for people who use these drugs and don't abuse.
