 On the "Today Show", Matt Lauer interviewed one of the wives of one of the Navy Seals killed along with the  US ambassador in  Libya . He asked what she would say to her children about their dad and how she would want them to remember him.

 Her answer, and I quote, "His love for Christ", and then continued on with a few other things.

Throughout the day and on MSN homepage, replaying the story, they have edited the "Love of Christ" part out. Why? Because using the word Christ might offend someone!

Well, I am a Christian and I am offended! I'm offended that they would edit it out. Offended that we as Christians are asked to tread lightly so as not to offend someone of another religion. This man loved his country and loved his God and gave his life for both, just as Christ gave His life for him.  There are e-mails that go around saying, "If you believe in God" then forward this.

 Well, I am starting one right here, right now. I am not ashamed of God. It is time to take a stand. GOD Bless  America ! God Bless us one and all.. Please GOD, have mercy on us!  
      I hope every Christian who is offended will forward this and keep it going.

Peoria's "Deplorable" Streets,Medians, Curbs and Sidewalks

It is not even winter and already the freezing and thawing are making a bigger driving mess than they did last year. Saturday, I hit a big piece of concrete that had erupted out of the highway. Tomorrow, I plan to have my right front tire checked for damage. Would be #3 tire replacement attributed to the City and Peoria Heights infrastructure in the past 3 years.

Don't expect the above mentioned to get any better as the City, County and State slides further in debt.

Sorry Newt. As a history buff, political corruption has been going on since the first decipherable human word was written around 4000 BC. Probably nearing the top of the most corrupt in the USA was the Clinton/Obama years.

Of course, over a 16 year period, both administrations did some good. As I published before, even Hitler did some good by building highways 85-90 years ago superior to those in this country today.

Even Fox TV with the exception of O'Reilly, Laura and Hannity. CNN is deathly quiet. Thousands of protesters, HO, HO, 98% sore loser Democrats protested in demonstrations and emails. Ho, Ho and a snort of cocaine, especially the Hollywood Know Nothings. Right now they are probably preparing themselves for another drug and sex orgy. The HKN as I will call them in the future, had better stick to saving the environment as one of their own HKN's recommended we all "use one less toilet paper sheet to wipe our butts" to save 'millions' of trees. In Michael Moore's case it already takes a whole roll to wipe his expansive ass, and a great many other HKN's don't know their ass from a hole in the ground.

Maybe I will go to Trump's inauguration, as I doubt many residents of Peoria will attend. Think Ray LaHood, a semi-Republican, will send his congratulations? Maybe I can hitch a ride with Mike Bailey as surely he will want to be there covering the event for the Peoria Journal Star Democrat. Surely, a top dog from the PJSD will want to be on hand to bring back a "fair and balanced" report to it's dwindling supply of readers.

The JS furnishes 2 copies of their publication to Lakeview Library. To read a copy, the reader has to sign a sheet, as if anyone would steal a copy. Sometimes when I come in at 5:30, maybe 4 people have signed to read them and probably read it for the thousands of pages of full ads or the sports page where Kurt and crew do a pretty good job. Or the comics.

I didn't want to overlook giving credit to WMBD and their CSI news in their attempt to emulate the National Enquirer. They love to show me at my worst totally ignoring the FACT that no Judge ever found reason to convict me of anything. The BIG story, sent to the press by the embittered Stowell' three years ago, Jerry and Jim, was welcome news to this viewer sliding TV Station. Didn't know I was so popular.
