Never forget that Obama was mentored by his pastor, the Reverend Jeremiah Wright for many years. A careful study of his actions and statements indicate that Obama clearly plans to bring this country down to an egalitarian status so that someday he will be elected as president of "one World".

From Sunday's 07 Sept. 2008 11:48:04 EST, Televised "Meet the Press" THE THEN Senator Obama was asked about his stance on the American Flag.
General Bill Gann' USAF (ret.) asked Obama to explain WHY he doesn't follow protocol when the National Anthem is played.
The General stated to Obama that according to the United States Code, Title 36, Chapter 10, Sec. 171...
During rendition of the national anthem, when the flag is displayed, all present (except those in uniform) are expected to stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. Or, at the very least, "Stand and Face It".
NOW GET THIS !!
"As I've said about the flag pin, I don't want to be perceived as taking sides". "There are a lot of people in the world to whom the American flag is a symbol of oppression.." "The anthem itself conveys a war-like message. You know, the bombs bursting in air and all that sort of thing."

Sorry, Pam, what I printed is true. The Snopes source you quote is not enen close to what Obama DID say.
Obama is full of half-truths. Speaking in Ames, Iowas on Feb. 2007, he is quoted, "I was against this war from the start; now my Iraq plan is a phased withdrawal of ALL military troops starting in May 2007 and ending in 2008".
Obama has been this countries major apologist. My file on what Obama has said is over 1" thick. Dial "Obama" on my Search bar at the top of this blog and you will read the truth.
Obama sole goal is to bring this country done to the level of Venezuela and Argentina.
Obama compares himself to FDR and Truman. Steve Forbes says, "No, more like Hoover and Carter".
