An Apology to My Readers

My only excuses for my erratice posting this month were changes in my personal life. The premature death from ALS of my Son-in-Law, Bill Greytak, Sr.,the earlier death of my fifth sister, the loss of other friends, realization that my political career had ended, a general fall cleanup of old records, the overall well-being of family members. Also, my successful involvement in helping get two Republicans (out of three) to replace Democrats on the County Board weighed heavily on my time to blog and my desire to blog.

The County Board now consists of 8 Republicans and 10 Democrats. My desire to see a board less influenced by special interest took a major step forward.

I also failed to note that my links on my blog site had disappeared. When Bloggrolling ceased operations, I didn't understand they would delete my links. I'm getting help to recreate and add more if my blog readers will email me the information I will need.

Thank you.

Wow. I read about the Blogrolling.com problem the other day.

I would have thought SOMEONE would have bought this company. I use the blogroll service than comes includes with WordPress, but I can see how it would be nice to have a service that but the SAME list of links on multiple sites.

Too bad no one figured out how to make money off of it.

Anyway, what is yoru take on the bids for the museum?

Bids look good. And the $41 million that will come in from the Sales Tax Referendum will cover the building but remember, the PRM Committee has already spent over $14 million on soft costs with a lot more to come.

Only $4 million in an Endowment that financial people believe should have $11 to 16 million? Even 16 million would only yield approx. $500,000-600,000 a year.
Rand is correct. A lot more money needs to be raised and NOT from the taxpayers but from the people who really want this museum.
