So said the JS today. Believe I predicted his retirement about 3 week ago on this site. To be a very active part of a group that spent approximately $640,000. to educate the public how to vote and then won by a margin of 410 out of almost 30,000 votes cast, must have been quite a disappointment to Mr. Johnson. Especially, when the small organized vote "no" group only spent around $3,000.
I'm glad to see him stay a part of the Peoria Historical Society, a group, who, without strong representation, could come out on the short end of what history of Peoria is displayed in the new museum.
