Museum Promoters Turn to Vandalism

On my way home from our Citizens For Responsible Spending Town Hall meeting I replaced four vandalized Vote No signs. Tomorrow, I will replace all other vandalized and will do so until the election.

I offer a reward or $500.00 for the verifiable name of these punks and $1000.00 reward for their arrest and conviction.

I knew that some of these "promoters" would stoop to anything. I look for more lies and exagerations, cowardly acts from a few of these people or their punk kids.

This is a good news, Merle.

They can't beat us with rational arguments. Logic and reason is against them.

We are right, they are wrong, and the public knows it.

So they resort to violence against out signage.

It's one step removed from wrecking printing presses and burning books.

The signs I saw that were vandalized were spray painted. I wouldn't consider "blown away" as vandalism, ie you notice the sign laying on the ground a few feet away.

It really is a sorry state of affairs that someone, not necessarily the entire side of an issue, has to stoop so low.

Thanks, Bill, riojr and Diane. Signs can be picked up at my house (call first) 6922591 or John and Karrie Alms house.

Merle - this is information we need to get out. If you talk to Karrie, tell her she needs to put this on the front page of the http://www.nomuseumtax.org/ website!!

You do realize that some "Vote Yes" signs were vandalized as well.

The type of behavior I've seen on this blog, including accusing others of selling a yes vote with absolutely no proof, is beneath our elected officials.

Merle,

Thanks for all your work. It is nice to know there are still some sane Peorians.

After decades of watching politics, I'm convinced NOTHING is below our elected leaders (or some of their dedicated followers).
