"Sons and Soldiers" by Bruce Henderson, - How Jewish Immigrants Fought and Suffered During WW2

"The untold story of the Jews who escaped the Nazis and returned with the U.S. army to fight Hitler".A heartening yet a very sad story of  bravery of those who Hitler wished to extinguish. This book should be recommended to all young people whose true understanding of events leading up to America's entry and tragedy's encountered in WW2, has become a fading memory for our youth.

Another good book, also recently published,, is "Women Coders" and how these code breakers helped win  WW2 and their struggle for recognition and equality. Left out of the book is the role the Navajos played in their successfully code-breaking efforts. .
