U.S.A. Political Irony

Forwardedd to me by a friend.  Mer;e

These three statements tell you a lot about our government and our culture:

1. We are advised to NOT judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics,
but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few
lunatics.

Funny how that works.

And another statement for consideration--

2. We constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run out of
money.  How come we never hear about welfare running out of money?
What's interesting is the first group "worked for" their money, but the
second didn't.

Finally ..

3. The Food Stamp Program, administered by the U.S. Department of
Agriculture, is proud to be distributing this year the greatest amount of free
Meals and Food Stamps ever --- to 47 million people, as of the most recent
figures available in 2013.

Meanwhile, the National Park Service, administered by the U.S. Department of
the Interior, asks us "Please Do Not Feed the Animals." The stated reason
for this policy is because "The animals will grow dependent on handouts and
will not learn to take care of themselves."

Thus Ends Today's Lesson On Irony

You actually equate feeding animals to feeding human children?
A few things for you to consider:

People do bad things when they are hungry & desperate.

Civilized societies do not let their children starve.

And then there is what Jesus would do:

"Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are they who mourn,
for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek,
for they shall inherit the earth.

Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they shall be satisfied.

Blessed are the merciful,
for they shall obtain mercy.

Blessed are the pure of heart,
for they shall see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they shall be called children of God.

Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

Anony, I don't debate idiots. Whether I would "rather kill you' (your comments) would depend on the circumstances as Jesus is quoted in the Bible as saying more than once.

You quote a parable in the Bible when even fools know this parable and Obama uses it, altho he probably never read it, to take from the working class and giving to crooked wealthy and the most to the lazy poor. Unlike Jesus you are a coward who hides behind 'anonymous'.
