Posted a truthful comment on the opinion page of the JS. Apparently, it was blocked by the JS Reporter Chris K. It was there and then disappeared. Those interested in my correct predictions can find them on this site by entering PRM or Lakeview Museum. Approximately 25 blogs on the subject, all available for view in my archives..
Why is the JS so fearful of me? After all I'm just an 88 year old man who still blogs, plays tennis and enjoys all aspects of life without the use of liquor or any type of drug.
On the museum issue, I was the leader on the Peoria County Board who can say. "I told you so". One of those I told were the "movers and shakers" who run the near bankrupt Journal Star.
Hmmmm.

Peoria Riverfrront Museum Adds Beer and Wine For Sale - Both Addictive Drugs
Following the lead of the Peoria Park District's African Exhibit, the PRM has now added beer and wine for sale. Thought this was to a family gathering and learning facility for youth?
Peoria "movers and shakers" were again wrong on projections. We peasants told them they were wrong and had the facts to back it up, For those predicting increased attendance; all the Benchmark museums used by the PRM Committees proved this theory wrong.
Learn to read facts. Really.

Our Imperial President Strikes Again
Obama Grants Amnesty to Illegal Immigrants Without
Congress
08/30/2013 Congress hasn’t passed immigration legislation, but that hasn’t stopped President Obama from issuing directives that grant amnesty to illegal immigrants. Last week, the Obama Administration issued the latest in a line of policy directives granting amnesty by default. This latest directive instructs Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials not to enforce immigration laws in cases where an illegal alien is the primary provider for any minor child—regardless of the child’s immigration status—or the parent or guardian of a child who is a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident. In a statement about the new directive, House Judiciary Committee chairman Bob Goodlatte (R–VA) declared: President Obama has once again abused his authority and unilaterally refused to enforce our current immigration laws by directing U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents to stop removing broad categories of unlawful immigrants. In June of last year, the Obama Administration’s Department of Homeland Security issued a memorandum telling U.S. immigration officials how they should “enforce the Nation’s immigration laws against certain young people who were brought to this country as children and know only this country as home.” The move essentially served to implement major portions of the DREAM Act—which has been introduced and failed in Congress more than 30 times—by executive fiat. Efforts to preserve and protect families are important considerations when it comes to immigration reform. Heritage has often argued that “strong families are priceless, providing an abundance of benefits to both adults and children and creating the bonds of strong societies.” Any such effort, however, should be not only compassionate but also fair and respectful of the rule of law. As we’ve said before: A proper solution would uphold the principles of immigration reform and not open the door to a blanket amnesty. Finding an actual solution through the legislative process would give the law legitimacy and more permanency, and it might even result in a bipartisan agreement.… In our system of government, Congress is the legislative branch and is responsible for making the laws. Presidents are supposed to “faithfully execute” the laws to the best of their ability, not reshape them to suit their own policy goals.Instead, fixing America’s broken immigration system requires a more thoughtful approach. Neither sweeping executive action nor a massive, do-it-all-at-once bill offers truly meaningful reform. In fact, any path that promises amnesty would only make matters worse. There is a better way forward—a practical, fair, and responsible path to address the nation’s broken borders and immigration mess. If only Congress and the Administration would listen. If you haven't got the guts to to put your name on your derorgatory comments they won't be published; I received 8 annonymous derogatory comments this month and only one put his name on the comment section under my blogs. I have publized before, don't expect me to print your hatred toward me and your drivel if you don't clearly identify yourselves. One person gave a name but I googled him on the internet and no such person was found. Real community force. (ha) Another identified himself as Dennis in Peoria. Dennis who? and how do I verify? I suggest most of you annoy people have some kind of history that you got away with and are afraid I will hire a PI to check you out?? True more than likely.
And, if you "so religous" people really were as God fearing as you sound, I believe Jesus said "Let he/she who has not sinned, cast the first stone".
I suggest you get a real life and forsake your Democrat ex-President's Kennedy, (and his brothers) ex-President Bill Clinton and even Hillary, who made have been involved in the suicide or murder of a susposed good friend many years ago) and especially Franklin Delano Roosevelt and his mistress or mistresses.
My name is on all 2300 blogs I've written. All of them with my name and profile on all of them.
Bill Clinton sucked off by Monica Lewinsky under the presidential desk in the White House. And Kennedy's affairs with Marilyn Monroe and then there is Teddy who let the woman he was planning to "make" die in a watery grave while he swam to safety.
You may not have noticed but I honestly told the police what happened. No, there was NO SEX with this woman THEN or at ANY time. I could have let the POSSIBLE trio of theives get away without any effort to stop them from scamming others who may have made mistakes somewhat similair to mine. Instead, I was foolish enough to let the near bankrupt Journal Star who lauds the people they like; (surely you noticed the JS and JSEB phoniness over Gary Sandburg's death while they constantly derided him while he was alive) a ususally thin rag that tries in desperation to imitate the National Inquirer, has kept only reporters with less talent (one major exception is Kirk Wessler) who will work for less money while they try to diminish myself and others they don't like, as they have done so many times before.
The case is not closed by the detectives and I advertise a $4,000 reward for the return of the necklace which my wife may have worn 2-3 times since I purchased the necklace for her in 1992. You probably skipped over why my wife, age 67, was in a hospital and nursing home for nine weeks this time. Most likely, indirect cause was extreme alcoholism for which she has suffered for years, refuses to take doctor's advise, is depressed over her mothers death and the selling of her birthplace home, her prior estrangement from her siblings, and her extreme hoarding..
Filing procedures were already underway by myself to close out an unhappy marriage for both of us. And yes, I have been spending my money in Florida where I long planned to live. Arizona or Florida and Florida it is. Will I return to Peoria? Damned right where I have many friends and a strong support base. For your information, my daughters live about 160-200 miles south of Peoria.
Now go and look at yourself in a mirror for at least 15 minutes all the while saying "thank God I never got caught for all my sins" over the probably dull life I really lead....

Illinois Wasted Summer - Illinois Policy Institute
This article is also available on IllinoisOpportunity.org.
A scant few weeks ago the state, the nation and even the outside world were abuzz with the drama of the pension “crisis” in Illinois.
The Illinois House and Senate, after a year of paralysis, passed dueling “reform” bills, one from Speaker Madigan and the other from Senate President Cullerton . The Illinois legislature adjourned on May 31, 2013, with this impasse unresolved. This led to two of the rating agencies, Fitch and Moody’s, cutting Illinois’ bond rating. Standard & Poors had correctly predicted that the Illinois legislature would be unable to accomplish anything, and had already cut the state’s bond rating. Then, Governor Quinn’s attempted one day “special session” accomplished nothing — except the appointment of a “conference committee”. The Committee has the unenviable task of solving the pension crisis. So far, despite having Governor Quinn cut all legislative pay, nothing has yet emerged from the Committee.
The cynical but realistic expectation was that the Committee would produce some patched-together compromise between the Madigan bill and the Cullerton bill. What was not expected was that the Committee would take all summer to produce nothing. Despite occasional rumors that the Committee was going to publish its proposal, so far it has not. Labor Day swiftly approaches, school has already begun for many children, and the lazy, hazy, sunny days are running out.
As we have repeatedly suggested, neither of the current bills, nor any slapped together amalgam of them, will truly resolve the pension crisis, for many reasons. Critically, both the Madigan and Cullerton bills contain a funding guarantee which would constitutionally bind the State to the payments in the bill, making reform in the inevitable future crisis even harder. And both continue with the defined benefits approach, which has proven to be non-viable.
As we have also suggested, there is a genuine reform proposal which the Committee should adopt. HB 3303 was introduced by state Reps. Tom Morrison and Jeanne Ives, and SB 2026 was introduced by state Sen. Jim Oberweis. If this plan were adopted it would, cut the Illinois’ unfunded pension debt in half and would fully fund pensions in the future with a defined contribution plan.
So, let’s ask the ten members of the Committee to adopt real pension reform in Illinois:
If you click on the links above, there is a message asking each committee member to propose pension reform bill based on House Bill 3303 and Senate Bill 2026.

James Pierson / A Negative on Syria
I agree. Merle
James Piereson / A Negative on Syria
The Obama administration is teed up to launch an attack on Syria in retaliation for the Assad regime’s use of chemical weapons in the civil war in that country. This will likely lead to another ill thought out intervention into a region where it is increasingly difficult to distinguish between our friends and enemies.
What does it mean to “punish” the Assad regime? The only way to do that is to intervene in the civil war in an effort to topple the regime. That will open up a hornet’s nest of problems. Once engaged the U.S. will be led step by step into deeper involvement into the Syrian civil war. Is it likely that the leaders of a new regime will be any better from an American (or Israeli) point of view? They could be a good deal worse. An attack will ignite a wider war in the region, drawing Iran and Islamist groups into the conflict against the United States. Assad and his friends will retaliate against the U.S. and American interests in ways that are impossible to foresee. Civil wars have a way of turning ugly; unfortunately, outside intervention is likely to make a bad situation even worse.
Why is Syria any more urgent than Iran, which has been working for years to develop nuclear weapons to neutralize American power in the region? We seem to have forgotten about that problem. It wasn’t very long ago when someone drew a bright red line on that situation as well. Are chemical weapons in Syria more dangerous than nuclear weapons in Iran?
From a domestic point of view, a war in the Middle East will drive up oil prices and create the conditions for another recession in the U.S. and Europe. That should come as no surprise: every recession since 1973 has been associated with spikes in oil prices, usually caused by wars in the region.
This is a situation that calls for intermediate steps to slow down the march toward war: economic sanctions, a UN investigation to determine the facts, pressure on Assad’s allies to withhold supplies, and world-wide condemnation. Obama said in 2008 that the intervention in Iraq was “illegal.” The main difference between the two situations is that the case for intervention in Iraq was much stronger than that for an attack on Syria today. We would be well advised to resist the temptation to take a baseball bat to the Syrian hornet’s nest.

Union Bosses Draw Large Salaries, Huge Benefits While Businesses Flee Illinois and New Businesses Open Elsewhere
Unions exist to
give workers greater leverage in negotiating over compensation and working
conditions, and to give them some protection from unfair treatment at the hands
of management. If union officials are doing their jobs well, workers should be
receiving better wages and benefits, and should be more secure in their
jobs.
But that’s not always what workers get.
People and institutions change. Old strategies and alliances do not always match up with new challenges or goals.
The same is true for labor unions.
A string of mass layoffs has given rank-and-file union members reason to question their blind faith in union bosses — and the movement behind big labor in general.
So what are rank-and-file workers getting for their thousands in annual union dues?
At best, unions have proved incapable of providing job protection for thousands of workers throughout the country, Illinois included. The last 10 years indicate that unionization puts members’ jobs at risk.
Over the last year, 760 workers represented by the United Auto Workers were laid off at one Caterpillar Inc. facility in Peoria. Hostess Inc., the iconic snack maker, was forced to shut its bakeries, including one in Schiller Park that employed 1,400 Illinoisans represented by several unions, among them the Bakers, Confectionary, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers union, and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. (That plant was reopened when new owners took over Hostess, but most of the workforce was replaced — those jobs are now non-union.) And when Chicago Public Schools started the new school year, they did so with about 3,000 fewer Chicago Teachers Union members.
While rank-and-file workers are facing pink slips, union bosses are raking in big salaries.

Syria Military Intervention This Late Probably Another Massive Mistake by Obama Like George W. Made
Where are Syria's neighbors? With a national debt approaching an unfathomable $17 trillion, this country may soon be listening a lot more to politicians like Rand Paul, who, while I support many of his positions, I could not at this time, support his presidential run. Nor could I support any pacifist.
In Syria, Egypt, Saudia Arabia, Yemen, etc., expect radical Islamists and groups like Hamas, El Judea, etc., to become more powerful, even in the U.S.

Why The Political System Needs to Change - Guest Article By Debra Johnson
Why the Political
System Needs to Change
For more than 200 years, the United States has been
a thriving example of capitalism to the fullest. Americans pride themselves on
being part of one of the greatest countries on the planet. However, could this
belief in the greatest country in the world be more of a praise from fans? Does
pride in one's home necessarily make it the most ideal in the world? There are
many aspects of the United States that need to be addressed as we're not
perfect. Being one of the youngest countries in the world, the American
population is still finding their way. But can the United States fully convict
itself as being the "best" country?
1. The Vote - The United States still holds out-dated methods in order to conduct itself. The Electoral College is one of those methods that may have worked during its inception but is no longer a viable method for electing a person to one of the most powerful positions in the world.
If a candidate shows more popularity with the people of the United States but loses the Electoral votes, he or she goes home a loser. The popular vote can show one candidate winning by a landslide, although it doesn't matter. Each state has a value assigned to it which is supposed to be a representation of the American people.
2. Personal Agendas - Regardless of how closely a candidate's views match a specific voter, there are always personal agendas that drive the country. Many politicians will start out with a noble cause to fight for. However, many of them ignore those they represent in order to do what he or she thinks is right.
For example, in the early 2000s politicians were working diligently to outlaw smoking in public places in Colorado. As they put it to a public vote, the law was denied. After a second vote a year or two later that demonstrated the majority of the population of Colorado didn't want the law in place, a loop-hole was discovered and politicians were able to pass the law anyway. This is a prime example of how personal views of politicians over-shadowed the majority vote.
Although the United States trails other countries in terms of health and education, reformation of political practices could put an end to it. At times, it feels like the United States is so worried about an invasion from 3rd-world countries that can't manage themselves let alone wage a war, that it fails to see the real enemy. An uneducated and dying population. More focus needs to be aimed at the internal workings of the U.S. and not what her neighbors are doing. Isn't that what we teach children in elementary school - providing the school is still open?

Obama Leading America On a Path of Destruction?
Forwarded to me by a friend. I believe this information is true no matter who of expertise in the field of mental disorders wrote this document. Merle
Subject: : Obama
>> Very interesting.
>>
>> Subject: Obama narcissist.
>> Written by Dr.Michael A. Haberman, M.D.
>> Israeli doctor says Obama has a mental disorder. Labels him a
>> pathological narcissist and there is no greater insanity than electing
>> one as President said Dr. Sam Vaknin who is an Israeli psychologist.
>> Interesting view on our president.
>>
>> Dr. Vaknin States "I must confess I was impressed by Obama from the
>> first time I saw him. At first I was excited to see a black candidate.
>> He
>> looked youthful, spoke well, appeared to be confident, a wholesome
>> presidential package. I was put off soon, not just because of his
>> shallowness but
>> also because there was an air of haughtiness in his demeanor that was
>> unsettling. His posture and his body language were louder than his
>> empty
>> words.
>> Obama's speeches are unlike any political speech we have heard in
>> American
>> history. Never a politician in this land had such quasi "religious"
>> impact
>> on so many people.
>>
>> The fact that Obama is a total incognito with Zero accomplishment, makes
>> this inexplicable infatuation alarming. Obama is not an ordinary man.
>> He is not a genius. In fact he is quite ignorant on most important
>> subjects."
>>
>> Dr. Sam Vaknin, the author of the Malignant Self Love believes "Barack
>> Obama appears to be a narcissist." Vaknin is a world authority on
>> narcissism
>> He understands narcissism and describes the inner mind of a narcissist
>> like no other person. When he talks about narcissism everyone listens.
>> Vaknin says that Obama's language, posture and demeanor, and the
>> testimonies of
>> his closest, dearest friends suggest that the man is either a narcissist
>> or he may have narcissistic personality disorder (NPD).
>>
>>
>> Narcissists project a grandiose but false image of themselves. Jim
>> Jones, the charismatic leader of People's Temple, the man who led over
>> 900 of
>> his followers to cheerfully commit mass suicide and even murder their own
>> children was also a narcissist. David Koresh, Charles Manson, Joseph
>> Koni,
>> Shoko Asahara, Stalin, Saddam, Mao, Kim Jong Ill and Adolph Hitler are a
>> few examples of narcissists of our time. All these men had a tremendous
>> influence over their fanciers. They created a personality cult around
>> themselves
>> and with their blazing speeches elevated their admirers, filled their
>> hearts with
enthusiasm and instilled in their minds a new zest for life.
>> They gave them hope! They promised them the moon, but alas, invariably
>> they
>> brought them to their doom.
>>
>> When you are a victim of a cult of personality, you don't know it until
>> it is too late. One determining factor in the development of NPD is
>> childhood abuse "Obama's early life was decidedly chaotic and replete
>> with traumatic and mentally bruising dislocations, "says Vaknin.
>> "Mixed-race
>> marriages were even less common then. His parents went through a
>> divorce when
he was an infant two years old. Obama saw his father only once
again,
>> before he died in a car accident. Then his mother re-married and Obama
>> had to
>> relocate to Indonesia, a foreign land with a radically foreign culture,
>> to be
>> raised by a step-father. At the age of ten, he was whisked off to live
>> with
>> his maternal (white) grandparents. He saw his mother only
>> intermittently
>> in the following few years and then she vanished from his life in 1979.
>> "She died of cancer in 1995."
>>
>> One must never underestimate the manipulative genius of pathological
>> narcissists. They project such an imposing personality that it
>> overwhelms those around them. Charmed by the charisma of the
>> narcissist,
people become
>> like clay in his hands. They cheerfully do his bidding and delight to
>> be at
>> his service. The narcissist shapes the world around himself and reduces
>> others in his own inverted image.
>> He creates a cult of personality. His admirers become his
>> co-dependents.
>> Narcissists have no interest in things that do not help them to reach
>> their personal objective. They are focused on one thing alone and that
>> is power. All other issues are meaningless to them and they do not want
>> to
>> waste their precious time on trivialities. Anything that does not help
>> them is
>> beneath them and does not deserve their attention.
>>
>> If an issue raised in the Senate does not help Obama in one way or
>> another, he has no interest in it. The "present" vote is a safe vote.
>> No one can criticize him if things go wrong. Those issues are unworthy
>> by their
>> very nature because they are not about him.
>>
>> Obama's election as the first black president of the Harvard Law Review
>> led to a contract and advance to write a book about race relations. The
>> University of Chicago Law School provided him a lot longer than expected
>> and at the end it evolved into, guess what? His own autobiography!
>> Instead of
>> writing a scholarly paper focusing on race relations, for which he had
>> been
>> paid, Obama could not resist writing about his most sublime self. He
>> entitled the book Dreams from My Father.
>> Not surprisingly, Adolph Hitler also wrote his own autobiography when he
>> was still a nobody. So did Stalin. For a narcissist no subject is as
>> important as his own self. Why would he waste his precious time and
>> genius writing about insignificant things when he can write about such an
>> august
>> being as himself?
>>
>> Narcissists are often callous and even ruthless. As the norm, they lack
>> conscience. This is evident from Obama's lack of interest in his own
>> brother who lives on only one dollar per month. A man who lives in
>> luxury, who takes a private jet to vacation in Hawaii, and who raised
>> nearly half a
>> billion dollars for his campaign (something unprecedented in history)
>> has no
>> interest in the plight of his own brother. Why?
>> Because, his brother cannot be used for his ascent to power. A
>> narcissist cares for no one but himself.
>>
>> This election was like no other in the history of America. The issues
>> were insignificant compared to what is at stake. What can be more
>> dangerous than having a man bereft of conscience, a serial liar, and one
>> who
cannot distinguish his fantasies from reality as the leader of the
free world?
>>
>> I hate to sound alarmist, but one is a fool if one is not alarmed. Many
>> politicians are narcissists. They pose no threat to others. They are
>> simply self-serving and selfish. Obama evidences symptoms of
>> pathological narcissism, which is different from the run-of-the-mill
narcissism of a Richard Nixon or a Bill Clinton for example. To him
reality and fantasy are intertwined.
>>
>> This is a mental health issue, not just a character flaw. Pathological
>> narcissists are dangerous because they look normal and even intelligent.
>> It is this disguise that makes them treacherous. Today the Democrats
>> have
>> placed all their hopes in Obama. But this man could put an end to their
>> party. The great majority of blacks voted for Obama. Only a fool does
>> not know that their support for him is racially driven. This is racism,
>> pure
>> and simple.
>>
>> The downside of this is that if Obama turns out to be the disaster I
>> predict, he will cause widespread resentment among the whites. The
>> blacks are unlikely to give up their support of their man. Cultic
>> mentality is
>> pernicious and unrelenting. They will dig their heads deeper in the
>> sand
>> and blame Obama's detractors of racism. This will cause a backlash
>> among
the whites.. The white supremacists will take advantage of the
discontent
>> and they will receive widespread support. I predict that in less than
>> four years,
>> racial tensions will increase to levels never seen since the turbulent
>> 1960's.
>> Obama will set the clock back decades. America is the bastion of
>> freedom. The peace of the world depends on the strength of America, and
>> its weakness translates into the triumph of terrorism and victory of
>> rogue
>> nations.
>> It is no wonder that Ahmadinejad, Hugo Chavez, the Castrists, the
>> Hezbollah, the Hamas, the lawyers of the Guantanamo terrorists, and
>> virtually all sworn enemies of America are so thrilled by the prospect
>> of their man
in the White House.
>>
>> America is on the verge of destruction. There is no insanity greater
>> than electing a pathological narcissist as president.
>>

>>
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>
As the norm, they lack
>> conscience. This is evident from Obama's lack of interest in his own

>> luxury, who takes a private jet to vacation in Hawaii, and who raised
>> nearly half a
>> billion dollars for his campaign (something unprecedented in history)
>> has no
>> interest in the plight of his own brother.
>>
>>
>>

>> The downside of this is that if Obama turns out to be the disaster I

Subject: Judical Watch | Newly Released Documents Detail the
Department of Justice’s Role in Organizing Trayvon Martin
Protests
Soooo...if the verdict is not guilty and these planned
protests turn into riots, how will you then feel about your tax$$$$$'s being
used by this Administration's chief 'law enforcement' agency to actually stir up
(as if they really need stirring) the blacks in the Sanford, FL area (and who
knows, maybe even wider areas)?? How do you feel knowing an office within OUR
Federal Law Enforcement agency IS helping to stir up (already heated)
anti-white race feelings??
Elections have consequences!
July 10, 2013
Judicial Watch announced today that it has obtained
documents proving that the Department
of Justice played a major behind-the-scenes role in organizing
protests against George Zimmerman. Zimmerman is on trial for second-degree
murder in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin in February 2012.
Judicial
Watch filed a Freedom of Information Act request with the DOJ on April 24,
2012. According to the documents JW received, a little-known DOJ unit called the Community Relations
Service deployed to Sanford, FL, to organize and manage rallies
against Zimmerman.

800# Scams

This long distance phone scam causes consumers to inadvertently incur high charges on their phone bills. Consumers usually receive a message telling them to call a phone number with an 809, 284, 649, or 876 area code in order to collect a prize, find out information about a sick relative, etc. The caller assumes the number is a typical three-digit U.S. area code; however, the caller is actually connected to a phone number outside the United States, often in Canada or the Caribbean, and charged international call rates. Unfortunately, consumers don't find out that they have been charged higher international call rates until they receive their bill.
AT&T recommends the following tips to help avoid the 809 area code scam:
Return calls to familiar numbers only. As a general rule, return calls from numbers that contain familiar or recognizable area codes. You may call your directory assistance or long distance operator to check the area code location.
Carefully read your telephone bill. Make sure that you only receive charges from your provider of choice. Ensure you thoroughly understand charges listed on your phone bill, have chosen to do business with all of the listed providers billing for those charges and have authorized additional fees invoiced. If your local service provider has changed, you will receive a final bill from the former provider and a notice of service disconnection.
If you believe that you have been scammed:
Contact the carrier with whom the charge originated, whose name and toll-free telephone number should be printed on the same bill page as the charge in question. Often, the problem can be resolved with a single phone call.
If the carrier with whom the charge originated does not agree to resolve the problem, contact AT&T. AT&T will work with you and the carrier to help remove fraudulent charges from the phone bill.

Imperial President? Yes, and he Will Manipulate the Laws to Run For a Third term
How is Obama’s Acting Like an Imperial President?
As a matter of constitutional interpretation, he’s right. But in practice, the President has shown a distinct contempt for the legal limits on his power.
Obama’s imperial presidency has manifested itself in many ways. Often he willfully neglects his constitutional duty to “take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed.” As we’ve seen with education, immigration, and health care, suspending the law amounts to rewriting the law.
Other times, the President is more direct. The legislative power may be vested in Congress, but that didn’t stop him from rewriting welfare legislation on his own, hollowing out the successful federal work requirements.
Unfortunately, it appears that this is only the beginning of Obama’s imperialism.
Once liberated from the constraints of reelection, he wasted little time signaling his enthusiasm for unilateral action in his second term.
“Congress is tough right now,” he recently declared, “but that’s not going to stop me.”
Armed with electoral immunity, the President is also more candid in justifying his actions.
[W]here Congress is unwilling to act, I will take whatever administrative steps that I can in order to do right by the American people. From this perspective, the legislature is more of an inconvenience than one of the three co-equal branches of government. Constitutional prerogatives are up for grabs; whoever is most willing to write the laws wins.
The President’s view of how our system works is not only dangerous, but it also flatly contradicts the Founders’ understanding of government.
The President sees no need to bother with all the arguing, deal-making, compromising, rivalries—in a word, politics—involved in the constitutional order. Reserving to Congress its lawmaking authority is an unnecessary obstacle to progress.
But our system was intentionally designed for messy political fights. The Founders understood that the alternative is even worse. Experience with Britain taught them the dangers of a government that tended toward the accumulation of powers.
Despite his fondness for mocking those who distrust government, President Obama accidentally vindicates the Founders’ fear of tyranny in American when he boasts, “We’re going to do everything we can, wherever we can, with or without Congress, to make things happen.”
With no sign in sight of the President slowing his imperial march, it would be naĆÆve to hope for the kind of modesty he feigns in emails. Rather, it is the duty of Congress to oppose his encroachments. With so much at stake this fall—from defunding Obamacare to cutting government spending—it is a critical time for Congress to do its job.

Clintons - Big Governement Opportunists
Subject: The joke's on us!
The Clintons are a couple of opportunists and have lived off the American people ever since they graduated from university and possibly even before!
This is funnier than anything you can send me.... and the joke's on us!
Hillary Rodham Clinton , as a New York State Senator, now comes under this fancy "Congressional Retirement and Staffing Plan," which means that even if she never gets re-elected, she STILL receives her Congressional salary until she dies. If Bill out-lives her, he then inherits HER salary until HE dies. He is already getting his Presidential salary until he dies. If Hillary out-lives Bill, she also gets HIS salary until she dies. Guess who pays for that? WE DO.
It's common knowledge that in order for her to establish NY residency, they purchased a million dollar-plus house in upscale Chappaqua. New York. Makes sense. They are entitled to Secret Service protection for life. Still makes sense.
Here is where it becomes interesting. Their mortgage payments hover at around $10,000 per month. BUT, an extra residence HAD to be built within the acreage to house the Secret Service agents.
The Clintons charge the Federal government $10,000 monthly rent for the use of that extra residence, which is just about equal to their mortgage payment. This means that we, the taxpayers, are Clinton's salary, mortgage, transportation, safety and security, as well as the salaries for their 12 man staff- and, this is all perfectly legal!
(interesting, isn't it.)
When she runs for President, will you vote for her?
How many people will YOU send this to?

Muslim Mentality

Muslim mentality...
From: Dr. Arieh Eldad:
I was instrumental in establishing the Israeli National Skin Bank, which is the largest in the world. The National Skin Bank stores skin for every day needs as well as for war time or mass casualty situations.
This skin bank is hosted at the Hadassah Ein Kerem University hospital in Jerusalem where I was the Chairman of plastic surgery. This is how I was asked to supply skin for an Arab woman from Gaza , who was hospitalized in Soroka Hospital in Beersheva, after her family burned her. Usually, such atrocities happen among Arab families when the women are suspected of having an affair.
We supplied all the needed Homografts for her treatment. She was successfully treated by my friend and colleague, Prof. Lior Rosenberg and discharged to return to Gaza . She was invited for regular follow-up visits to the outpatient clinic in Beersheva.
One day she was caught at a border crossing wearing a suicide belt.
She meant to explode herself in the outpatient clinic of the hospital where they saved her life.
It seems that her family promised her that if she did that, they would forgive her.
This is only one example of the war between Jews and Muslims in the Land of Israel . It is not a territorial conflict. This is a civilizational conflict, or rather a war between civilization & barbarism.
Bibi (Netanyahu) gets it, Obama does not.
I have never written before asking to please forward onwards, so that as many as possible can understand radical Islam and what awaits the world if it is not stopped.

JS Should Stick to the News That is Important to the Taxpayers Like Their Solid Endorsement of The Peoria Riverfront Museum
"Museum Reports Higher Than Expected Operating Costs and Lower Attendance. Cuts admission costs" That's news today? That's old news when those of us who exposed this folly when the JS, without doing any research, was all aglow over 240,000 RPM only visitors a year each and every year forever. And agreeing with the Bradley Professors who said the museum would bring in $14 million a year in new business forever. It was the JSEB that bragged that funding was complete when the Endowment was short $12 million or so and when many of the pledges proved to be just that, "pledges" either not paid in money or at all or reduced in value.
To make matters worse, Peoria County, meaning you, own the museum building and the mortgage. Yes, I did try to render the community a service in the 10 years I was elected 7 times out of 7. Now, we will see how the Peoria County property taxpayer fares on "Headington Oaks" and what happens to the old BelWood building the County will still own. Is the Taj Mahal of Medicaid County owned open yet? It was to open June 1.
And did the city collect the $41,000 per month from the developer who was way past due in opening the remodeled Pere??
Interesting but the near bankrupt JS fails to report the real news but turns into the National Inquirer when reporting about some folly of someone they disliked since 1999.
No, I'm not dead yet and at least for the highly religious, I'm not gay.

Boycott Florida? Hardly
Forwarded to me by a friend.
Interesting FL impacts….
The Reverend Jesse Jackson, in the wake of the Trayvon Martin verdict,
made
this proclamation several days ago-
"I want all African Americans to know that it is time to boycott the
whole
state of Florida!!! No concerts, conventions or ball games. No
vacations in
the sunshine state and no orange juice. Stay away from Florida. Boycott
anything FROM Florida!"
Fox News noted that almost instantly, the property values in Florida
shot up
and vacation spots began to sell out. The crime rate is expected to
continue
to fall to record lows until the boycott is over.

Peoria Police Department - Criminal Report On Possible Theft at the Merle Widmer Residence
I was first able to get a copy of the police report at 5 PM today using the FOIA; I publish it in it's exact form and will make comments about the differences in the police report and the sensationalized nationally published report by JS "reporter" Matts Buedel at the end of the report.
Here is the police report dated 8/01/13. Buedel report was in the JS on 8/6/13. I was first granted a copy on 8/14/13:
"Case Summary: Known females were over at house and one of them stole some jewelry from victim."
(Officer Bond now reporting) I was dispatched to the listed address on an earlier theft.. When I arrived on the scene I spoke with Merle Widmer, who is the victim. Merle told me that his wife, Claire Widmer, is an alcoholic, and was being treated at an inpatient facility. She was released to come back home on July 19th after 9 weeks of treatment. Claire was currently sleeping in a back bedroom and did not want to talk with police.
Merle stated that he and his wife had not had sex in over 15 years. Merle says that Claire is aware that he seeks sex from other women.
Merle says that he frequents Club Cabaret in Creve Coeur. While there he met a Dancer with the stage name of :Salima". Merle said that when they became better acquainted, 'Salima' told Merle he could call her by her real name, Gabby. Merle does not know Gabby's last name. Merle described her as a mix of Hispanic and white. Merle stated that her rear end was bigger. She had long black hair and she was short in stature.
Merle told me that he set up a date to have sex with Gabby. Merle is not sure of the date that Gabby came to his house, but it was at least a few weeks before his wife came back from treatment.
Merle stated that Gabby arrived at his home sometime after 1700 hours. Gabby had two other females with her. Gabby identified another Hispanic female as her sister. Merle told me that his sister told him she went to school in Miami, Fl. Gabby identified the third female as her aunt. Merle described the aunt as a W/F aged 50 t0 60 years old
Merle invited all three females into his house. Merle showed them his sitting room which is just off the front door, the kitchen and and his den. All of the rooms are on the north side of his house. Merle stated that he did not know what to to do with all three women so he led them through the kitchen and out onto the back porch. Two of the women sat on patio charis and the other remained standing. Merle said he chatted with the women for a short time.
Gabby then asked if she could speak with Merle in private. Merle led Gabby back through the kitchen and into the den. Merle stated Gabby kissed him on the lips and grabbed his balls. He was in the den for for approximately 5 minutes. Gabby then said she had to leave and she would come back later. Merle escorted the Gabby to the back porch and they met up with the other three women. Merle then led them out of the house.
Merle told me that a few days after Claire came home from treatment she was unable to locate her two listed necklaces. Merle stated that the necklaces were kept in a file cabinet in his office. Merle's office is located on the South side of his the house. The gold necklace was in a white box and the diamond necklace was in a gray velvet pouch. They both were stored in the second in the second of four drawers.
Merle said that he originally thought that his wife had hid them on him because she will do that sort of thing from time to time. Since the necklaces were discovered missing Merle has been looking all over the house for them and has even ruled out the safety deposit box at the bank.Merle tells me that Claire is accusing him of giving the necklaces to his daughters. Claire was adamant that she did not hid the jewelry.
I contacted Sgt. Huff and informed him of the theft. officer Tim Wong came out to the house and processed the file cabinet with negative results.I have attached a copy of the of the diamond necklace appraisal and photo to the report. The diamond necklace was appraised at $7959.00 back in 1993. Mere says it's worth $13.000 now.
I request followup by the detectives.
End of report.
JS reporter Buedel did not interview me or request an interview. His imagination took him from a four drawer file cabinet in the den to "an upstairs drawer" cleverly changing the report " from a four drawer file cabinet in the den in the BACK of the house to upstairs drawers" from where my office and the bedrooms are located, an area the police report clearly shows that the women were not shown.
Why would he sensationalize the report about "taken from and UPSTAIRS DRAWER? Because he wanted his report to to make readers believe we went there to have sex. In five minute or less??
Also, I live in a ranch style house with NO UPSTAIRS, Buedel, you liar. Also, had Buedel interviewed me, I would have told him I did not ACCUSE anyone. Nowhere in the police report copied exactly as it was turned in and seen by Buedel, does is say I ACCUSED anyone. Re-read the report or better yet, it is a matter of public record.
Buedel a staunch Democrat, had to add that I was a Republican and "stepped down" from his position in the fall of 2010. Now, Headlines in the January 7, 2009, Peoria Times-Observer, showed that my early announcement of my retirement come December of 2010, was ranked as the #4 story of 2008. I did not give the story to the Peoria Journal Star because from 1999-2008, they made every effort to destroy my reputation. Despite their efforts I ran for public office 8 times and was elected 7 times, my only loss was to incumbent Park Board President, the only time in history anyone had challenged the incumbent park board president.
Not mentioned is the fact that my wife is an alcoholic who was hospitalized so near death that her doctor would not let me drive her to emergency. She was down to 101 in weight, 60/40 and a very low pulse. She developed pneumonia, had a severely infected lung, cancelled her doctors appointment today as usual and spends 90% of her time bed-ridden. She will seek not seek treatment for alcoholism, a terrible disease.
Like Gary Sandberg, who I have a dozen or more JSEB clippings nailing Gary to the cross. But when he died, all was adulation by the JS about how Gary will be missed.
On 6/6/05, I wrote a blog titled _Liars". I was referring to the Peoria Journal Stat Editorial Board who wrote an editorial stating "how fair the JS is in reporting and how negativism does not fly in their newspaper". Yet they approved and article saying "Peoria elected a grossly incompetent person to the office of mayor........ On 12/05/04, Mike Bailey, still employed by the JS, I believe, wrote a whole editorial criticizing Glen Barton who has done more for this community than the JS ever has done.
Yet when their favorite mayor, Bud Grieves got a DUI, hardly a peep about his background..Mine was splashed nationwide by Buedel, a staunch Democrat and the JS City News Desk Manager,, insinuating the Republicans made a mistake and should have elected another Democrat to already Democrat County Board.
Sorry to air dirty family affairs but remember Clinton's affairs even under his desk in the Oval Office and the Kennedy's yet they were elected and reelected to lead our country many offices many accused of infidelities were highly paid speakers at sold out appearances.
I made a bad judgment, but in my house there was no sex, no talk about sex although the night Club performer said she would be back. Doesn't mean that an 88 year old could (I had prostrate surgery in 2006 and elected to use radiation seeding to be sure all cancer would be removed and not come back) but I would might have enjoyed her company.. She didn't come back and sorry to say as late as two days ago, she had not been interviewed by any detective according to Detective Roger Martin. I did, however, identify a full page picture they showed me of her. So maybe they had interviewed her but did no want it made public.
Still, I did not accuse anyone of stealing the two missing items. When the detectives arrived, my wife did allow them to visit her bedroom and talk with her.
Anyway, as many have said "No good deed goes unpunished." I could have shut up, not reported anything. Instead, I let the JS let me 'swing in the wind' making me the entire bad guy.and insinuating all night club performers as thieves and bad girls and I'm a senile old man. Not senile, just used bad judgment. For some reading the JS article, I suggest they look in the mirror and think of all the bad things they got away with. And I suggest someone with a made reputation, never run for public office, especially as long as the JS is solvent.

Muslims and Free-Loaders Have Taken Over Detroit - The City is a National Disaster That can Not be BAILED Out by Your Taxes
I have yet to see a scarfed Muslim woman look at my eyes in a public place such as in a grocery store. Detroit has shrunk to half the size it was a few years ago. The majority of the population is made of of Muslims and mainly poor blacks. And of course, white people who are to poor to move.In my short lifetime I expect to see the Muslim population in the U.S. double
Some of you do-gooders have confused them with the early settlers who arrived on our shores. Wrong. The overwhelming majority of immigrants today expect to make this country an Islamic state led by our traitors president. Yes, they will have to win over a minority of radical Hispanics by compromise but that is doable
I'm taking bets Obama will find reason to declare a national emergency and run in 2016. The Republicans are too divided to put up a candidate who can win. Just as I said in 2011, none of the seven major candidates could win. This time around., no Republican mentioned or acting like a presidential candidate, can win. No, not even Rand Paul
Our country a melting pot? No, our country is melting and those who wish to change our country into an Islamic state with strong black support are coalescing and a revolution surely is in the offing somewhere down the line. Those of you who think like Rand Paul and I (most of the time) keep your guns and add to your collections.
My dad who came from Switzerland must be turning in his grave.
So sad. And if you read my blogs I have predicted correctly on 90% of the issues I researched.
I have been past the point of fruitless blogging. Any qualified person is welcome to my roughly 10 drawers of history and research. I plan to soon move from the eventual bankrupt State of Illinois. My alcohol and depression driven spouse has tied me here 21 years after retirement which was never in my retirement plans. Also, born and raised on a farm, I have had enough cold winters to last a lifetime.

Yes, I Cancelled My Subscription to the JS
You may have noticed they only run the Editorial Page on certain days. And announced changes that diminish the news paper. Maybe some billionaire will buy Gateway and make the changes that SHOULD BE MADE. Yes, our very competent SA said he would get me a copy of the police report despite my filing an FOIA withs the Peoria Police Department 5 days ago.
Hmmm

Journal Star Reporter Matt Buedel - You Are a Lying SOB
I just got off the phone with a return call from Peoria Police Officer Thomas C. Bond in which he confirmed that that I did not say to him that "an exotic dancer stole from me" as reported by sensation seeker and liar JS reporter Matt Buedel. I did not say that and Officer Bond did not put that in his police report. Had SOB Buedel talked with me I would have told him it was not a probability that the exotic dancer could have walked 120 feet and back while we were engaged in conversation.
SOB Buedel, you are a damned liar.
The police report will show that since expensive jewelry was missing the three women might possibly be involved.
And you just cost your newspaper another subscriber. Cancelling tomorrow.

Peoria U-Haul Personell Say More People Moving Out of Peoria Than Moving In
No surprise here. I hope to be joining the exodus before late fall. Years ago I said one of the main population deflaters was our local major newspaper. In an article in today's Journal Star, a Know-Not-Much-Reporter wrote an article about me without even talking to me ever in his life. He took information from a police theft report that did not mention an "an upstairs room" because there is no upstairs room as we live in a ranch style home. Yet this sensation gathering reporter wrote "that the stolen items were taken from an upstairs drawer" intimating that I probably took them into a bedroom. He also said I "stepped down fro, my position in the "fall" of 2010. Actually, I announced my decision to the now deceased DeWayne Bartels of th Observor to NOT run for a fourth term 2 1/2 years before my third term ended. It ended in December, a winter month, rather than "my stepping down in the fall of 2010" as this KNMR reporter wrote in his financially struggling newspaper.
Many times I have been assaulted by the JS without the reporter doing the bashing ever interviewing me personally. This reporter followed the established sensation seeking failing newspaper. Yes, I still take it as I want to know when I appear in the obits and I like Wessler's sports page.
The reporter went at length to vilify the night club, the performers and the Republican Party. If he knew me he would know I publicly declared myself an Independent over a year ago. He also stressed my age as if those of those of us who control our weight and lead an active life are all supposed be be in nursing homes watching reruns of the Archie Bunker and Jackie Gleason. Actually, many of us enjoy the exotic dancers on-stage performance ability, and yes, their beauty rather than being forced to look at the wide-bodies shopping Walmart, or stuffing their buffet butts with more fat and and forced to look at an overweight sexually neutered population in general. I don't go to movies or watch sitcoms and watch Linsey, Rosie, Oprah, Jerry Springer and many of the retards that dominate our visual medias today.
Nor do I watch porn movies as much of our population appears to have an addiction.
Actually, I should be commended for reporting jewelry that has gone missing to warn others to be more selective of those they invite into their homes. Or to put their most valuable valuables in a Safe Deposit Box or under locked SafeFiles or vaults.
And those not familiar with personal domestic issues might best look closely in their own mirrors. As far as those who perform at night clubs they are women trying to make a living, most of them have children to support and to my knowledge, they are not theives or sell their bodies any more than most married women use sex to get what they want from their husbands or boyfriends.
As far as my saying an exotic dancer stole from me that is a totally false statement. How could she steal from me when the jewelry was 120 feet way from where she and I were sitting and talking for a few minutes. I have not seen a police report but if that is what Officer Bond recorded, he is totally wrong. I have been trying to reach him by phone with no results todate.Right now, I believe the reporter was trying to sensationalize his story.
