Pat Quinn Pushes Progressive Tax Bill For Illinois

This bill, if adopted, would mean higher taxes for working people, slower economic growth and at least 88,000 jobs lost. This in a state that is ranked 48 out of 50 in economic performance and the same in future prospects.

Guess who else is pushing this tax? Of course, the unions, SEIU and AFSCME and two Chicago equalizer Democrats Toi Hutchinson and John Cullerton.

Poster child? California who first passed personal income taxes in 1935 when it affected only those making over $838,000 now affects those making only $48,000. who pay 9.3%, 2nd highest in the nation. Illinois Democrats are pushing for more and more taxes (also, substitute "charges for service"fees and increased fees from permits and and licenses)

In for a penny.......
