You may want to read "Sarah Palin, Governor - Why has she been successful in Alaska? by Byron York in the October 20 issue of National Review.
She will bring the same attributes to Washington, D.C. She will have those who dislike and hate her but overall she will be a consensus builder if given the chance. And more honest than most "politically correct" politicians can be.
I've noted the local "feminists" who keep chattering in their "letters to the Editors" that she should be a home raising her babies are predominately Democrats or not registered to vote.
