The recommended budget being offered by administration to the County Board for review in the very near future will be slightly lower than last year. The tax rate proposed will be lower for the third straight year.
Changes to the departmental budgets may be made during the year due to economic, emergencies or public safety conditions. The administration will make any change recommendations deemed necessary to be approved by the full board, based on priority of needs.
