Another rumor spread by the County Democrats that Karrie is running for both positions. The Democrats and certain other Peoria County Officials do not want Mrs. Alms on the Peoria County Board. Why not?
An easy question. SHE WOULD NOT FOLLOW THE HERD AS DOES INCUMBENT (19 years) DEMOCRAT LYNN PEARSON.
Karrie Alms asks the hard questions and does not give up until she gets the answers.
Peoria County former Financial Officer, in an email to me after he took his new position with McLean County Unit #5 School district, said I was his favorite board member because I asked the hard questions. I'm retiring from the board in December. We need Karrie to ask the hard questions and break up the "herd" instinct prevailing by dominant members of the current board.
