Even Bill Clinton can't seem to salvage or justify Obama's failed presidency, no matter how much Bill praises the guy.
"He [Obama] warned them in 2008, and when he formally opened his re-election campaign in May, he put it in his speech again. He will “never be a perfect president,” he said, a line he now repeats at stop after stop. The unspoken subtext: It’s not my fault if you didn’t listen or expected too much....
The Iranians have proved immune to Mr. Obama’s charm, as have the North Koreans, the Taliban and Vladimir V. Putin. So have the Republicans and, for that matter, even some Democrats."
-- NY Times.
Obama seems to think the best response to any problem is to give a speech about it, but lately, his oratory is falling flat. Obama's empty rhetoric has reached the point where even his supporters are saying "the thrill is gone."
He could not bus in enough people to fill the Bank of America football stadium.
Now he has to move his speech from an outdoor venue to an indoor auditorium, disappointing many and greatly diminishing the impact. 65,000 ticket holders will not get to see Obama's speech. A humiliating setback.
Politico claims Obama is now the "not so great communicator".

Politico claims Obama is now the "not so great communicator".
"Harsh circumstance, relentless conservative opposition and, above all, the inconsistency of his own messaging operation have made it difficult for a supremely articulate communicator to articulate the narrative of his own presidency. That leaves Obama’s high likability rating — hardly his central selling point in 2008 — as his campaign’s main bulwark against Mitt Romney and the super PAC onslaught."
