Constantly deriding Trump and going easy on the corrupt Clinton's. Today Peoria Journal Star Democrat criticized Trump for having his name printed larger than Pence. No kidding? Is Pence the Presidential candidate or Trump. How much more stupid can the AP and other left-wing liberals get?
Then they and the PEORIA JSD printed a criticism of the Trump/Pence logo saying that liberals thought the logo had a "sexual look". To liberal reporters, it probably does. The AP and other liberal women probably have over sized vaginas and the men have skinny dicks.(penis envy??)
Otherwise, how could they print such stupid stuff?
So sad that the media can't just print the fact backed news and do more factual investigating reporting. What a better country this would be.

Turkish Coup By the Military Has Apparently Failed- Too Bad
From all I read and see, Turkish leadership was in the prolonged process of turning Turkey from a Democracy into an Islamic State. Obama, a Muslim, was seemingly in support of this process.
While I seldom believe violence is the answer to solving problems, sometimes it is necessary such as the entrance of the U.S.A. into World War 2.
I could be wrong as I have never visited Turkey and felt the mood of good leaders.

Terribly Biased Media
Liberal Democrat leaning media say, "Trump introduced running mate today. Keeps emphasis on himself" What a mis-leading statement. Of course,he emphasized his political stance. He will be President, not Pence. If media like the JS, claim to be 'fair and 'balanced', they would have said he spent considerable time detailing Pence's character and achievements and then let Pence take the speaker for at least 15 minutes.
Speaking of "fair and balanced", few liberal media try to print all the truth but leave out or ad falsehoods. Some local media would add and "upstairs" to a ranch house of fail to put in the word "alleged" when someone of some importance is arrested but never convicted.
Or print their mug shot. Mug shots are automatic for even a misdemeanor, especially in Florida. Even though the charge is later forgotten or dismissed. To the JS Editorial Board credit, they believe that a mug shot should not be made public upon an arrest and before a conviction of the charge.
Trump would like to make "libeling" of individuals by the media a prosecution offense. I agree. No one has won a libel case against the media in Illinois in 60 years.

I watched the entire Republican V-P presentation this morning. As a Christian, I forgive Pence for his stance on issues that are contrary to my factual thinking. It is only human to disagree. It is only human to err. It must be only human to forgive acts and statements that are forgivable.
Pence is an excellent, well thought out, choice to be the running mate of the next President of this great country, the United States of America. I very much would like to be in Cleveland but my daughters and my own common sense said, old man, don't go. While I was in Tampa four years ago, unfortunately, I do not have the physical strength I had then. But I had a ball supporting Romney in Tampa.
While people like Ray LaHood and many other Republicans are advising Republican voters to stay at home in November because of statements Trump has made, these stay at-homers are only going to give the presidency to the corrupt Hillary and a failed group of so-called Democrat leaders. Look at the mess Demorat controlled Illinois is in.
Please, readers, don't be naive. Trump was and is saying in public what most people like Ray LaHood say in some semblance of privacy. Woman and men both; I believe women moreso, will be friendly and say nice things when face to face, but when backs are turned, the criticisms flow.
Trump has guts but he is way to smart to be recklessly dangerous. He is a proven leaders who made mistakes but to be successful, like he is, he made less mistakes than others. Please don't say sure because he had a lot of money to start. The road to success in business is littered with those who also started out with much money but blew it. He realizes that our leadership of people and country must be greatly improved; that the Republican patry is doomed to become a third party if the Establishment, in which Ray LaHood played a major role, does not come to grips that this is not the country of our fathers and grandfathers.

I didn't know he wants to abolish Planned Parenthood. I do not agree. Perhaps he is to far right and is too slow to acknowledged that things have changed in this country that cannot be reversed.

Right To Work States - 26 of Them and No Near Bankrupt Illinois
Do you think Cat is moving people and building plants in states that have yet to join the Right-to-Work movement? Think again. And I'm taking even money bets that Cat will never build their new headquarters in Illinois unless the Federal Government, the State Government,and the City and County give taxpayer incentives so large that Cat can't refuse.
Or Illinois, to extract themselves from the morass the Democrats and many Republicans have intentionally pushed themselves near the bottom, soon votes to become the 27th state. Even now, it is probably too late as Illinois has a host of negatives for a mass movement of new businesses to move here.

I'm giving odds that their will be no World Series Champion in Chicago again this year. The facts are there if the die-hards care to see them.

Ray once asked me if I thought he was paid to much. I answered "no" and came to regret it as I became more politically minded. I didn't realize at the time all the massive perks received by members of our most wildly and ineffective spending Congressional bodies in the history of our nation.
Stand on the prow of the Titanic and perhaps have some run-down portion of Illinois highways named also after LaHood. Or a run down street in Peoria, not hard to find these days.
Most of you will not remember but Ray tried to force automakers to agree to build autos that would average 56.2 mpg by 2025.. Asked where the 56.2 mpg came from, LaHood said, "he had no idea".(JS, June 39, 2011)
Most forgot that Ray first supported a new $800,000,000.00 new highway to Chicago across farmlands Then he changed his mind and he and Dave Leitch supported widening Rt.29. (JS, 6/02) When engineers determined that the cost would be over $600,000,000.00, LaHood backed off and a highway that could never be justified, was never built. But not after upwards of $12 million was paid to consultants and engineers to "study" the never was and never could be justified highway.
When Obama named LaHood Secretary of Transportation, he selected a man that knew little about transportation. He took four years to prove it.
Incidentally, on 10/15/11 as reported in the JS, LaHood criticized the Republican party by stating that some people "don't want Obama to be successful".

Worst Criminals Did Some Good Things
Ask their mothers. Every person ever born did and does some good in their lifetime, no matter how short or how long that life is. If I were to say Hitler did some good which I will, if I were "somebody" I would be quickly become a headline in all the wannabees "National Inquirer's", which so much of the media attempts to mimic, The headline would be, "Widmer says Hitler was a good man" which would be a total lie. What good did Hitler do good? He had the Germans' build the best highways in Europe.
Of course he had a ulterior motive; to build roadbeds constructed to move his machines of war. But I understand that even today, Germany has some of the best wearing roadbeds in the world.
Now Trump says Saddam did some good in eliminating terrorists even though his regime also gratly harmed many innocents. Isn't that happening today in Iraq only worse? So the headlines make it look like Trump would have liked to have been best buddies with Saddam. Without elaborating, do people really believe Iraq is better off today than it was before the U.S>A. got involved? Unless I can't believe any media, Iraq appears to be a total mess. What goes on in Libya is probably worse than it was 10 years ago.
The world is a mess and will remain that way until people understand that the world needs STRONG leaders and not all of these "leaders" will be angels sent from heaven.
So sad. At times, I regret living this long to see what i long ago predicted if you read my 30 some "Letters to the Editors" of the JS and my 2700 blogs.

Megyn Kelly, You Were Super Superb Tonight
If you missed this lady reporting on Fox News tonight, you missed one of the best performances ever as she and her guests tore FBI Director a new AH for his politically rigged decision on not recommending charges to be brought against the most lying politician presidential candidate since Barack Obama.
She is more than back in my good graces and Fox News is the best TV new station in the world. FBI Director Comey avoided saying whether the corrupt Clinton Foundation is still under investigation. Comey may try to save face by recommending this case to the Clinton favoring AG, Loretta Lynch.
Trump put on one his best performances in North Carolina tonight. He may be all the things people dislike about him but he is always on or near solutions to the problems this country faces.
And these problems are so immense that half the things, typical of all politicians, will not be accomplished in 8 years, let alone 4 years.
If the Republican Establishment and some of the "Titanic" Republican voters don't get behind Mr. Trump, the Republicans are dead, as I said before, perhaps forever.
