A small rumor I picked tonight that Peoria District #150 Board Member Rachel Parker may be running for the Democrat slot currently occupied on the County Board by Democrat Bud Sous.
Little conflict of interest there, folks; better have the States Atty. check this out before any action is taken. I can remember when a former 150 school board president was told he couldn't be on the board and hold another position he held. Might save us all a lot of time and trouble. Am impressed wdsith Mrs. Parker, so this is nothing against her personally.
Anonymous, it possibly is a conflict once she is elected. We'll cross that bridge when we get to it. I doubt very seriously if we'll be asking Kevin Lyons for for legal advice.
Anyway, if there is a conflict, then she'll give up one or the other.
