Holt Prejudiced in Trump-Clinton Debate?

No, No, No, Of course not. If ANYONE  who watched the debate think he wasn't pro-Hillary all the way must still believe in Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny. Naivety, on Trumps' part in the political arena is more excusable than being a corrupt liar which most aptly describes Clinton.

You could tell by Trump's reactions during the debate that he was 'set up" as he predicted but he he showed Presidential timbre in the way he basically controlled his anger..

Hillary is phony, a Pinocchio, a consummate liar who stupidly or consciously abetted the killings at Benghazi and perhaps abetted the "suicide" of Vince Foster who may have stopped the Clinton's from ever advancing beyond a governorship. Trump is a sometimes liar; Clinton's every statement contains at least one falsehood. Trump is a fact-stretcher but his points are valid. Clinton, if elected, would be even worse than a Socialist or a Marxist.

As I blogged before, maybe this is what the populists want. Unfortunately, if she is elected, I may not be able to get out of this country before I pass on.

So sad.

The Great Presidential Debate of 2016

Of course Trump was on the defensive. She was asked by the "moderator" to go first giving her the opportunity to attack Trump putting him on the defensive from the get-go. It was always Clinton first. I don't know if they flipped a coin or drew straws. But the moderator was not able to control two head strong people attacking each other.

Nothing new came out that most of us who are following this "race" hadn't already heard over and over. Many half-truths. Regardless of who wins, very little of what was said by both candidates tonight can be accomplished. I do not agree with Clinton nor does Trump but he evaded the question that all workers should make the same amount of money such as the much debated minimum wage. Clinton supports it and most likely $15 an hour. I believe no matter where you start on the minimum wage type jobs, that their must be an opportunity to share

Overtaxing the wealthy is always a mistake. It takes decent profits to expand and hire more workers and managers. Also more construction jobs. Clinton, like so many politicians has never met a payroll. It takes wealth to grow a business but the profits should not all go to the owners or those running the operation. I do believe that no person on this earth is worth more than $17 million a year plus the generous benefits all receive.

One thing Trump was absolutely right on and that is the state of affairs on this earth. That most of the blame goes to the Democrats, Republicans also own a large share of the mistakes made to put us where we are today and more important, the disastrous direction we are heading. If Trump is elected, he will do a better job than Clinton because he has started,  bought and sold businesses, went bankrupt and has met a lot of large payrolls even as others lost their jobs.

Shit happens.

Trump a nuclear threat? Not hardly. I'm not sure of this number but 8 or more countries have nuclear weapons. Maybe even ISIS, if not now, possibly soon. The most dangerous is still probably Russia although the nutcase in North Korea is capable of making a horrible mistake.

Trump talked about the stock market bubble which will soon burst. Clinton evaded the "bubble" because she is beholden to Wall Street. .

Anyone who criticizes what I write about a bubble should read the "Forgotten Man" by Amity Shlaes.

High Tech Corporations Raise $113 Million For Clinton

Among the leaders are the struggling Yahoo, Netflix and the semi Socialist Facebook. I am cancelling my Facebook today. Many should be concerned because the tech industry promotes less jobs while our real number of unemployed stands closer to 15% wile another 10% or more are underemployed.

One to many 1's in original post. Bad enough, though. Sorry

Shooting at Cascade Mall in State of Washington

Unknown number of dead and wounded in another killing. Please start cutting the discovery time to 6 months and those guilty of these killing be hanged and not housed in prison for 15 years while they and Marxist attorneys file endless appeals for clemency.

Louisville Slugger Complex Off Schedule

Drove out to the site today and was greeted with a "stay out" sign. According to the June 2015 IB, the complex was to open in June 2015. Now 2016 is basically gone and the complex is still under construction. Accordion to the complex attorney, the large sports complex with a huge indoor facility will not cost the taxpayers one dime.

Does this statement sound familiar to those of you who didn't invest in the Peoria Baseball Chiefs new stadium?, The City of Peoria invested more than $5 million of your money, forgave a $1.2 million dollar loan and George Ryan had the State of Illinois donate $2 million of your money.
State Representative Dave Leitch tried to get the taxpayer to reimburse us investors with more of your money. Since information from the Chiefs was very hard to secure, I don't know whether he succeeded or not.

A year of so ago, I sold my $50,000 investment made in 1994 when the club was still at Meinen Field.for a pittance. (The Club stopped communicating with me about 2 years ago) Unless there were some back room deals all 42 ( 2 owners quickly donated their stock and one transferred his stock to his son) of the 45 investors may be holding stock for which there apparently is no market. The Chiefs apparently bought back the shares of the Community Foundation of Central Illinois because of pressure from the elite that run this Foundation.

I have a great deal of information on how unwisely tax payer dollars are spent. I hope some one will accept before I pass on.

More on the Chiefs sorry history in the future and how the $29,000 offer from Kevin Shields for my shares never came to pass.

Cruz Endorses Trump - Some Right-Wing Elite Peoria County Establishment Republicans Jump Off the Top of the PRM

Or off the top of the Chamber of Commerce Building, housing about as inept a group ever in their long history of ineptness. Do the jump before the Chamber relocates again Those who believe one can't change their mind should read "The Forgotten Man", a book that describes the constant waffling of FDR before and during the Great depression that ended mainly with the help of the start of WW1 in the late 1930's. Most public educated kids do not know when the U.S.A. entered this war and why. Yes, it was the bombing of Pearl Harbor. But FDR was already personally involved and planned to take this country into this war. PH was the final catalyst.

Our country is, admit it or not, divided into two classes. The wealthy or at least the well-to-do upper class and the public school educated or not educated, lower class. Not to mention the elite colleges versus the colleges that accept the public school graduates.

Yes, I know their are exceptions in both classes. Like me when I opened my business in Peoria in 1964, bank officials wanted to know "who my daddy was" and if I was a college graduate and what college. I told them that Dad was a poor "dirt farmer"and I graduated from Western.. That got me only a $2500 line of credit. But I had the gumption, taught by my poor, hard-working, uneducated Dad and Mom; a gumption so lacking in the majority of the lower class today.

Guess I'll have to wait for the results of Monday nights huge debate to see whether the "establishment" Republicans decide to join Cruz, a man who out drew Trump by Peoria County voters in the primary. (Expectations are 100 million viewers Monday)

Gnite.

Tax Increase Referendums on November Ballot For All Residents of Peoria County

Informative meetings sponsored by the City, County and #150 School District, one at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 6801 N. Allen Rd. on Sept. 29. A second on will be held at Mossville Jr. High, 12207 N. Old Galena Rd. on Oct. 18. Both meeting are from 6-8 PM.

Imperative that all for and against attend. If you read my blogs, you know where I stand as I list a few factual reasons for "NO NEW TAXES".

Community Word - A Socialist Newspaper?

In this month issue, the CW have a  picture and a quote of Eugene (Gene) V. Debs, five times a Presidential Candidate of the Socialist Party. The quote the CW printed with his picture is as follows: "I am opposing a social order in which it is possible for one man who does nothing that is useful to amass a fortune of hundreds of millions of dollars, while millions of men and women who work all the days of their lives secure barely enough for a wretched existence. The class which has the power to rob upon  a larger scale has also the power to control the government and legalize their robbery."

Well, I agree with a small part of what he said, aren't people clamoring for a change when with Hillary or Biden people would get the same or worse. But certainly all the "wretched' in Peoria have a frig, a TV, electricity and most have air conditioning. ( I grew up with NONE  of the above accept we did have electricity and a fan or two). Same in school.

And most poor have a vehicle. Or a bike. They have free schooling which most poor resent. They have more freedom than almost any country in the world. They have the right to vote but most only want to push one button that says "Democrat". Last election in Peoria about 20-22% of eligible voters, voted. I'm voting for Trump to CHANGE the system and if he doesn't do a reasonable job, I hope there is a candidate I can really accept and I will vote Trump out.

See my next blog. I am so weary of half-truths and outright lies.
.

Peoria, Il. - NO NEW TAXES

Why not?  We are already overtaxed in Peoria County. The County has made really bad decisions. The latest ones - owning the Peoria Riverfront Museum where they have already spent over $500,000.00 this year on various problems. This money will never be recouped. The County foolishly accepted the Hanna City Correctional Center from the State for $1 and is spending thousands of $ on maintaining the deteriorating Center while accruing NO benefits from it. And the law prevents the County from selling any of the forty acres. Heddington Oaks, the County owned nursing home was built on many falsehoods, is costing property taxpayers around $5 million dollars a year to house 214 or less clients. The home needs an administrator and a financial officer but can not find or afford either. The County let the country roads deteriorate and now needs $200 million to repair. I could cite many more examples from my records of wasted money.

The City made many poor decisions. They let the PRIVATELY owned baseball park off the hook for another $1.5 million adding to the approximately $5 million taxpayers paid to reconstruct the ballpark area when it was built. They wasted unknown millions of dollars on the riverfront and now need millions more to tear down what should have never been built and replace it with they don't know what.  They spent millions of dollars on the corner of University and Main that in addition causes vehicular traffic backups and the time wasted by the drivers and passengers to accommodate a relatively small number of Bradley Students who couldn't wait for Stop and Go signals already in place. They let City roadbeds, curbs and sidewalks deteriorate to a point never experienced here in decades. The reconstruction of the Warehouse District cost taxpayers around $30 million to largely benefit the developers. Some of the businesses and residents that have moved there or are going to move there means more empty space where they are leaving. The taxpayer $ spent on the long empty Cub Food building will never be recovered because of it's size, location and many dozens of empty business buildings available all over the City. $250,000 was spent on defending the current Mayor (running for reelection with no competition) on his sheer lack of judgement. Here, again, I could cite many more examples of waste from my records including taxpayers spent on a defunct grocery store on South Adams years ago.

I'll conclude. Why was a multi-million bridge built across Knoxville when it was obvious an outlet would soon be made from Junction City onto Knoxville? The new stop and go signal is approximately 20 feet from the lightly used bridge.

Peoria Public School District #150, now erroneously had a name change costing thousands of dollar. The situation at #150 is so bad I am not going to attempt to relist them. Read my previous blogs. I met an 88 year old woman whose daughter retired from #150. Her ending salary was $60 some thousand a year and her pension is now $40,000 a year. She has a relative just retired from a college and has a pension  approximately 60%.of this relatives salary. The mother is not bragging, she is not a happy camper. I have an acquaintance who taught and coached a little tennis at #150 who draws a $70,000 a year pension. His wife also affiliated with #150 is or will draw around $90,000 a year pension. Another friend affiliated with #150 draws a combined pension or of over $120,000.00 according to an article printed by the JSEB many years ago. #150 pays coaches of minor sports 11% of their salary. At one time, I helped coach as an unpaid volunteer at #150 and was responsible for new tennis courts up by the Manual school building. This year Manual  appears that it is not going to have either a boys or girls teams. For a number of years, The Manual coach had never hit a tennis ball and relied on two previous graduates to "coach" the teams. Competitive results printed in the JS on 10/6/10, showed Manual and Central combined wins of 8 games while losing 216 games. (See my blog, "Tennis Competion - Peoria Public Schools) The Central coach and his wife brought lawn chairs to sit in at Bradley Park. One of maybe both were being paid 11% of their salaries.

Enough. No new taxes. Elect stronger and retired people who know how to run a business. I know that is impossible because there are maybe only 3-4  with successful business backgrounds on the combined County, City and Park Board.

Out of a combined 36 "Board" members. We, I guess, are responsible to the huge fiscals debts now and rising on the future. NO NEW TAXES. Let those who got us into this shape figure it out.

So sad and the bragging about how well the economy is doing is false. Prepare yourself for the massive depression on the horizon.

Senator John McCain - 'We Could Stay in Iraq for a Thousand Years"

Or a million years as far as he is concerned. So said Senator McCain at a Town Meeting on 1/3/2008. Look it up if you don't believe me. Can't find it? I'll help you so you won't need Democrat controlled Snopes.

In fact, we should never have invaded Iraq the second time. I didn't support it. McCain did.

Trump is right on 90% of what he says. He is just "basically" honest" and politically unwise at times. Consider that all politicians lie more when it comes to election time.  But the media is only right about 80% of what it publishes or displays. And is good at putting their knee in the groin of someone they don't like.

Like me. No, I have never been convicted of anything worse that a speeding ticket. But the local media has on various times tried to convict me and in various ways.

Good example of the Trump hating Journal Star is that in June of 2002, the JSEB led by Barbara Mantz Drake, was still pushing the billion dollar highway to Chicago that would have started in Mossville (another bridge would have been needed where Cat seems to be  continually laying off workers) or in Morton where there is not enough taxpayer dollars to even complete an intersection started a few years ago.

Even then IDOT District Manager,  Dale Risinger said that the highway could not be justified. Don't believe me? I have his statement. LaHood then wanted to rebuild Rt. 29 for $600 million as a starter, until finally the whole ridiculous idea was dropped never to come up in anybody reading this lifetime.

Want to read what I correctly wrote on the "Highway to Chicago" . Just enter same on my search bar. You should find half a dozen articles stating why this idea was another taxpayer being stuck "boondoogle yet supported by all the "elite" in Peoria.:.

Why is Illinois, the City or Peoria, Peoria County, Peoria Public School district #150 (alias Peoria Public schools, ha ha) etc going bust? Another ha, ha.

Please be wise enough to vote NO on any new tax referendums that will appear on the November ballot. All have spent your tax dollars so unwisely, it is impossible to list them all.

What do I know? For starters, the company I started in 1964 with 2 employees and grew to $11 million in sales in 1992 when I sold it for more money than any office equipment store was EVER sold for in Peoria and is still thriving 52 years later out on North Allen road under my name.

Fact printing? Bragging rights? I believe I earned them.

Allen West - An American Hero

(At the beginning of a football game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Green Bay Packers, the 49ers prize quarterback, Colin Kapernick, sat out the playing of the National Anthem in protest.)
TO KAPERNICK FROM RETIRED U.S. ARMY LT. COL. ALLEN WEST..........REMARKABLE SPEECH...................
Message from a non-oppressed black man to Colin Kaepernick…
By Allen West1:44pm August 28, 2016
If there’s one thing I live for, it’s football season, especially college. Saturday night I was enjoying a fantastic game between Charleston Southern University and North Dakota State University. The game went into overtime and ended with the Bison of NDSU winning 24-17. However, as I watched this thrilling game, it was an item on the ESPN news ticker that disturbed me — to which I see a need to respond to this “teachable moment.”
As reported yesterday, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick refused to stand for the National Anthem in Friday’spre-season game against Green Bay because he was protesting “black oppression” in the United States. The Niners went on to lose.
The NFL issued a statement that said players are encouraged but not required to stand for the national anthem. Hmm, this is the same NFL that refused to allow the Dallas Cowboys to wear a helmet decal in honor of the fallen Dallas Police officers gunned down on Thursday July 7th.
This is the same NFL that said nothing when players from the St. Louis Cardinals displayed the false narrative symbol of “hands up, dont shoot” — which we know didn’t happen. I find it rather interesting that the NFL has no issue disrespecting law enforcement officers but only “encourages” players to respect the symbol of our nation, the American flag, and our anthem, the Star Spangled Banner.
However, I would recommend a simple scripture from the wise King Solomon for Mr. Kaepernick, Proverbs 17:28 (NIV): “Even fools are thought wise if they keep silent, and discerning if they hold their tongues.”
Or, as the old folks down South would say, “best for a stupid person to keep their mouth shut and not open it and let everyone know they are.”
Mr. Kaepernick, a bi-racial young man adopted and raised by white parents, claims America is oppressing blacks at a time when we have a black, bi racial president who was twice elected. We’ve had two black attorneys general and currently have a black secretary of homeland security, along with a black national security advisor. Here in Dallas our police chief, whom I know, is an outstanding black leader. The officer in Milwaukee who shot the armed assailant after issuing an order to drop his weapon was black. Is Mr. Kaepernick following suit and cherry-picking what he terms “oppression?” First of all, let me clarify to you sir, you are a multi-millionaire “one-percenter” just because you can throw a ball and kiss your biceps. Men like Jesse Owens, Jackie Robinson, Hank Aaron, Oscar Robertson, Ernie Davis, and Bernard King and Condredge Halloway of my alma mater were athletes who knew of oppression. You sir may certainly have the right to sit upon your “fourth point of contact” when the National Anthem is played but never forget, you live in a nation that has provided you the privilege to have that right.
My story is one I wish to share. My dad was a corporal in the U.S. Army and served during World War II. He was born in 1920 and knew oppression. Yet, when he sat me down on the steps of our home, 651 Kennesaw Ave NE in Atlanta, he shared with me that there was no greater honor or privilege, than to wear the uniform of these United States. Perhaps that ‘s why his first and middle sons, along with his grandson, are all U.S. combat veterans, just like Dad. Herman West Sr. was not a victim, and he raised men who would never allow anyone to suppress or oppress them. Perhaps you should stop trying to make victims and admonish people, black people, to be victors — try it, and you may find that more satisfying than your insidious action and word vomiting.
If you want to know about oppression of blacks in America, past and present, how about you ask Rep. Nancy Pelosi of the San Fran Bay Area about the policies that decimated the black family? Maybe you can cross the Bay over to Oakland and ask Rep. Barbara Lee about the 13 to15 million black babies killed since 1973, and ask her who is Margaret Sanger?
Or perhaps you can ask the two California senators, Boxer and Feinstein, about who doesn’t support better education opportunities for black children in the inner cities — school choice, vouchers, charter schools, home schooling.
Perhaps you didn’t know Barack Obama was the one who cancelled the DC school voucher program for deserving young black children — talk about oppression. Is that something you’re willing to do, or is it just too difficult?
You should look at who’s been controlling the communities and cities where blacks live. This isn’t not about what America has done; it’s about what a certain group, a political party has done. And your somewhat backhanded comment towards our law enforcement officers — well, wonder how many times San Francisco PD has protected you?
Here is the deal young man. My recommendation is that you apologize. Be a stand up fella and admit you made a very stupid comment. Humbly state that you do realize how very special this country is and the opportunities it has afforded you — and many others. You should take that stand and apologize to all of those who are currently serving in our Armed Forces and those veterans who’ve been willing to make that last full measure of devotion. You see, when the National Anthem is played, it has a very special meaning to us — maybe you should take a hiatus and go over to Helmand Province in Afghanistan and spend a week and understand why. Go over and throw a football with the men and women who enable you to earn those millions of dollars.
The American flag has a very touching meaning for those of us for whom it will drape our coffin — as it was for my Dad…and it will be for me. That song defines who we are as a proud and exceptional people. This is a land where so many dream of coming to and earning the title of American. Your actions were shameful, disgusting, despicable and disrespectful.
