Ineptocracy - Term Describing the Administration, Congress and Their Bureaucrats

"A system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services that are paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number or producers."

A message forwarded to me by a friend. Basically true but far more complex that can be printed on the front a a tee-shirt like this one, worn by one of many citizens disappointed in what bad at most political levels is happening in this country. Of course, good things are being done, otherwise ALL of the trillions spent by governments on the environment, social agencies, museums, etc., would all be wasted on the undeserving.

And the world as a whole.

It's called Socialism or worse with it's "good old buddy systems", inherited positions and moneyed or those with arrogant appearances and intentions; greedy and corrupt folks basically at the top but to be also found in the middle and lower classes; those who cannot get a legitimate job due to physical or mental hindrances; those with drug or all kinds addiction; those with a felony record most wish they could erase; plus the criminal inclined, etc., on the bottom.

And the spreading of the wealth with the exception that those doing the "spreading" live like kings and nobles of eras gone by.

In between are the basically honest, hard-working, compassionate and reasonably, or at least partially, educated folks in between. Usually called the middle class.

The system WILL NEVER CHANGE or GO AWAY.  Be optimistic but read history. Facts prove things are getting worse as society appears to be more accepting of all of the above.  It is like prostitution, alcohol, drug abuse, cheating on all levels of society. And a general growing trend that if it feels good it must be acceptable.

Plus an almost total misconception by those teaching at all levels of the meaning of self-esteem and discipline.

If you believe that that those who are elected or appointed to high positions are not beholden to their masters, you are poorly read. If you believe a $10 contribution to a candidate will get you the same attention and favoritism as a $10,000 an up donation, I have the proverbial bridge to sell you. Fact is, the bridge has been sold millions if not billions of times including those who are propagandized into playing all lotteries, etc., and who believe the one out of hundreds of millions playing these mindless gambling games, will be them.

And those who think Obama, most Democrats and too many Republicans, if elected or re-elected, will lead us out the wilderness, proves there is a sucker and a huckster, born every 10th of a second.

So sad.

Journal Star Comment Page Seldom Verifies Comments Submitted??

The Journal Star wrote recently that "they verified every comment submitted to their opinion page BEFORE printing the comment". That is a false statement. When I was running for the Peoria Park district presidency, a major supplier to the park district, in his criticism of me, had this comment published by the JS, "Widmer, while serving on the Peoria County Booard, raised the taxes om Peoria County residents by 25%". In the first place, of course I didn't, I was a Republican serving in a Democrat dominated County Board and just one of eighteen board members.

And no one on the County Board suggested a 25% tax increase.

When I challenged Mike Bailey and another now departed Editorial page editors , they said they did not have the time to check out all "letters to the editor"??? Many letters to the editor carry false messages and are printed by the JS, past Editorial Page Manager, Barbra Manz Drake comes quickly to mind, and present members continue the practice. In their defense, false info is daily printed in liberal medias across the nation. In the area I am in right now, the Tampa Bay Times leads Florida.

Biden Spends $585,000 For His Hotel in Recent Paris Visit

Champion of the poor, V-P, Joe Biden spent $585,000 just for his hotel bill. Not counting the dozens of security people, plane, food, and dozens other expenses he occurred on this one trip,

Champion of the poor?  I pegged this guy with the phony smile as an overall phony the first time he was selected by another master phony ,

So many politicasl jokers, the large majority Democrats with many Republicans as no exceptions.

So sad for this country.

Muslims Burn Large Numbers of Christian Homes In Pakistan

I have recently called these nuts radicals but I retract the word radical and replace it with the correct words extremists and terrorists. I also hope that the great Mohamed is burning in hell. If the Muslims really knew the history of the rise of the idolization of this figure, but of course, they don't as most of these people can't read anything except the Koran, they would realize they are mainly living lies expanded upon over the centuries.

Christians, a small minority in the Mideast, Africa, and other poorly educated countries and poor and poorly educated people, are being persecuted with no more valid reason than that the Koran tells them to kill all infidels.

So sad.

Relgious Radicalism

I sent out an email today in which I attached an opinion of another about the rise of Islam radicalism in the world today. I received a couple of comments reminding me that Christianity has had their share of radicals as have most religious groups in history.

I agree. But the perhaps the greatest threat to the world today is the rise of radical Islam. I am not aware of Christian groups of radicals threatening to kill all infidels. And doing just that especially in Egypt and parts of Africa.

As well as each other such as the Sunni and Shites.

It was also pointed out that Germans who protested the rise of Nazism were persecuted. That was true after Hitler gained power. We should be making every effort to prevent a person like Hitler to gain control of this country. However, if you read widely you may note that many efforts are being made by our current administration to weaken the ability of citizens to defend themselves should the need arise to DEFEND themselves.

I have posted these comments in previous blogs. I have also posted that while we increase games and circuses, the majority of us do seem to be blind about the future of this country.

So sad.

Drones Being Considered to Use on Our Own Citizenry?

I support Rand Paul, Ron Wyden and Ted Cruz, etc., on their opposition to use drones on U.S.A. citizens. We use drones on terrorists in countries where we do not have internal control. In this country we SHOULD be in control and use SWAT teams, etc, to control terrorism.

See my Facebook page for comments.

Combining Governmental Positions For Greater Efficiency and To Save Money

Peoria, Il. City Council Combines three departments into one. How the combining is handled will tell if it improves efficiency and saves taxpayer dollars.

According to Senator Tom Coburn (R., Okla.) the Government Accountability Office (GAO) has identified 1,363 duplicate programs accounting for $364.5 billion in federal spending every single year.

And that's just on the federal level. When you look at all the duplicating programs in 50 states, thousands of counties, cities, towns, villages, etc., the amount of waste is another reason why this great country is in serious financial trouble.

Lacking is the political guts to make changes; prime example is Peoria County and all duplicate services rendered by all social groups seeking government grant money.

One Marxist-Socialist Leader Dies of Cancer at Age 58

Blame for his cancer will go to the United States of America in one form or another. In fact, the blame game is well underway. I think his key followers are right. We infected him with cancer so we could get his oil. No, I;m wrong it was probably our solar, wind and water power that did him in.

I'm going to join the blame game and  suggest that Dilbert sneaked the cancer into his brain when Hugo was a young man.

It will be interesting to see what world leaders, including some of the most dangerous dictators in the world such as the terrorist from Iran and perhaps Korea will probably attend his funeral Friday. Where will the drones be when you need them?

Your Congress is Spending Big $ on Vodka and Robotic Squirrels

While cutting essential services. My learned advise? Cut bureaucrats by the dozens. And lobbyists by the hundreds or thousands. No effect will be felt. I see were "Girls Gone Crazy" sitcom is going off the air. Perhaps it is time to eliminate Congress? Or maybe the presidency?

Country craze over if it feels good, do it, will make us the Greece of the Americas.

So sad.

Let the Sequester Begin

For a country wallowing in massive debt growing daily by millions of dollar, 80 some billion is a drop in the bucket. Let the small suffering start.

Obama hides behind the fog of gun control, more welfare and converting illegals into Democrat voters,  congress people and bureaucrats spend millions of dollars on "all talk and parties and convention dinners, resulting in  little positive and spending reduction action" while elsewhere, increased entitlements and lazy workers abound. In Florida, a right to work state but like unionized Illinois, I observed the common practice of 6 MEN, 3 pieces of expensive equipment and three City owned pick up trucks surrounded by dozens of barrels; the men nonchalantly repairing a small rupture of concrete. As I drove by I asked as I usually do, the four men standing around, two who appeared to be working,  if they needed any help which usually draws a few laughs from the free-loaders who must suffer greatly in the average 70-75 degree Florida temperatures.

All DOT's want more money for expensive equipment that sit idle (about 1000 pieces of
cat equipment setting unsold) between Tampa and Orlando, some unsold for four years or more as there is no money to improve the bridges and expanded highways let alone money for now departed USDOT Secretary Obama-Republican Peorian Ray LaHood's High speed rails from Goodfield to Carlock or is it Peoria to B-N or from somewhere in Tampa to somewhere in overcrowded Orlando or Bakersfield to Timbuktu, ring roads, long now obsolete, from Morton to Caterpillar-Mossville, while Cat contemplates re-locating corporate headquarter elsewhere by 2020 and manufacturing moves to right to work states. Don't fear, Peoria will have the visitor's center which turned out to be a partial Caterpillar workplace upstairs and off-limits to visitors. This now multi-purpose building was built at a cost of  $41 million, much  less than the highly touted $51-3 million visitor's center originally advertised.  Entry costs are from 7-9 dollars per visitor when the original thought was the center to be free or $5 bucks at the most, My interest culminated parking at a "I pay the city" parking meter, walking up the long outside stairways, asking the price of entry. objecting and then peering through the windows. I've seen enough Cat equipment in operation in my travels and am most interested in their stock prices that have ranged from $117 to 79 per share in the last 18 months.

Anyway, let the sequester begin, I''ll accept the fallout as the beginning of a lot more cuts in government spending which is contrary to Obama's plan which is to lie more and spend like a true Socialist or Marxist as it will eventually be proven he is.
.
Lets get back to the sequester and the $2 Trillion and growing yearly deficit. I want more profit orientated successful non-union businesses taking over the public sector business whenever practical, greatly reducing the number of especially federal employees, more job creation for willing and dependable workers, those harder to find these days because the majority come from our failing big city. drug and gang racked schools, and by reducing the burdens placed on the private sector by usually lazy regulator paper shufflers would couldn't hold a job in the private sector.

Looking at all requests for money as priorities, the rush to get re-elected to enjoy all the massive perks,Includes those high class conventions and possible tax-payer funded trips abroad, the attempt to please all those who will vote for you (one prominent Peoria business man told me he couldn't vote for what appeared to be the best candidate because the incumbent funneled government money to his company and his vote was "obligatory"

This country will most likely turn out somewhat similar to Greece because politicians, by and large, want to act only in a manner that will get them elected and ten re-elected earning them the title of "A Parliament of Whores" by acclaimed author P.J. O'Rourke in a book well worth the read.

In the meantime expect high taxes, higher prices on fees and most  everything and after a possible brief pause, more increased spending for all those "worthwhile" causes presented by those who guarantee the results of the next election, whether in the best interest of the "whole" or not.
